A Better Way to Travel

Launched in 2010, the GUTSI commuter service operates daily return services from Fulham, Kensington, Wandsworth and Chelsea to the City of London. Commuters benefit from:
  • Carefully positioned pick up points efficiently collectivises commuters and then provides a direct transfer to their place of work
  • An online booking service enables commuters to guarantee their seat in advance or cancel their seat when not required. However, unlike public transport, unused seats are not an unrecoverable expense, as commuters are incentivised to return these to ensure the vehicle is always fully occupied.
  • It is fast, direct, and accesses the expansive bus lane network.
  • It provides first class comfort at an affordable price, enabling your employees to be productive whilst in transit and arrive fresh for their day ahead
  • Tax efficient, GUTSI has been HMRC approved as a works bus, thus employees can travel free, or pay a fare (either in full or partially subsidised) without having to pay tax or national insurance on the cost of travel (benefit)
  • Employers are free to share a works bus, so the benefit is equally available to both small and large companies, or those where employee route density is low
Productivity Improvement
Employees using GUTSi will experience a productive commute. This is the biggest latent reservoir of time available to leverage. Time pressed staff will always use these precious hours very effectively. The 'value to enterprise' of these productive minutes will be between at least 2 and sometimes more than 5 times the gross salary. Staff will arrive at work in the best frame of mind, better informed and motivated

Corporate Social Responsibility
GUTSi meets with (CSR) policy needs.  Real reductions in the direct environmental footprint of your business; reducing green house gasses, toxic traffic emissions, congestion and noise. GUTSi is also far better for mobility impaired staff and those who feel vulnerable travelling on public transport, thus enhancing social inclusion

Talent Retention & recruitment
Recruiting and retaining talented employees is critical to business success. Commuting challenges can be a major factor in migration of valuable staff whilst efficient travel to work solutions widens an employers geographic recruitment envelope improving recruitment prospects

Engaged Workforce
GUTSi will be an enjoyable and valued part of the day, engaging staff to go the extra mile. Stressful commutes are considered part of the working day and impact on employee's sense of job satisfaction and their commitment to an organisation.

Better Work/Life Balance

Reduced travel times will give back time to your hard working employees (and their families). The online retail link with John Lewis allows deliveries directly to their vehicle when travelling to or from the office.

Affordable

The GUTSi commuter service operates under the HMRC works bus exemption (s242 ITEPA2003), GUTSi can be provide free or subsidised to employees without having to pay tax or national insurance on the befit. This means the service is exceptional value at only a fraction of the cost of a car or a taxi and comparable to public transport.
