  • the very latest vehicles. All our vehicles were registered and delivered on or after October 2013. You will be guaranteed a brand new vehicle with immaculate interior; what you see is what you get. We only operate a fleet of identical executive coaches. The images you can see on our website are the real images of the vehicle you will receive. See our fleet here;
  • the largest fleet of executive minibuses in London. We can cater for any party size and every vehicle you order will look identical. Perfect for a wedding or corporate function. Our fleet consists of 16 identical vehicles;
  • superior vehicle specification including leather reclining seats, conference tables, electrical charging points, two televisions, DVD and media player, free WIFI, on-board refrigerator, air conditioning, personal lighting and audio controls, and vast luggage space allowing you to carry up to 20 suitcases and ski and golf equipment;
  • that we won’t subcontract work. We are not a coach broker and everyone of our jobs is undertaken by one of our own full time drivers in one of our own executive vehicles;

OUR STORY

Green Urban Transport (GoGUTSi)  is a privately owned company established in 2007 . Our vision is simple, to create a sustainable and affordable solution to tackle the problems of an overcrowded, congested and polluted urban transport network. Together with a brilliant team and revolutionary ideas, our goal of making sustainable commuter shuttles superior to conventional single-occupancy transport is being realized. Much of our early work was spent designing and building the UK’s first executive electric coach, the GUTSi Zero. Zero emission and zero carbon, it is unique providing the most luxurious passenger transport in the UK’s lowest emission vehicle.

In early 2009, we commenced successful trials with support from the Greater London Authority, Transport for London and Westminster City Council and later that year we launched our first commercial services, a daily commuting service from Fulham to the City. Today GoGUTSi has a fleet of 23 executive vehicles and operate more than 40 daily commuting services, as well as private charter and corporate shuttles services. We work with global leaders and innovators such as The John Lewis Partnership, Bank of America, Evolution Securities, Peel Hunt, Liberum, BAA , IP Group, RBS, Royal College of Art, Telecity, Mclaren Mercedes, Ferrari,  and many of London’s premium hotel groups.

We are now building capacity and extending it’s popular commuter service to include new routes across London to meet growing demand from commuters from a diverse range of companies, enrolling new corporate customers and their employees to experience our efficient and intelligent commuter transport network.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Our team is highly experienced in all areas of transport intelligence, logistics, retail and customer service.  We believe in a future where travelling in urban centres does not involve stress or damage to the environment. We believe that the best way to de-carbonise travel is by offering a tempting choice that is more attractive and desirable.

NICK MONGER-GODFREY – CHIEF EXECUTIVE

 

Former Chief Executive of Urban Regeneration Agency Park Royal London, Nick has a career history in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility. He held the position of Head of Corporate Social Responsibility for John Lewis and Waitrose for 7 years and before that, spent nine years as a senior management consultant with professional services firm, Ernst & Young and Environmental Resources Management UK. Nick is an expert in climate change policy. Has advised the DTI during the creation of the UK Emissions Trading Scheme in 2000 and as a member of the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, BSI and Carbon Trust working groups was involved in the creation of the Climate Bill and Carbon Reduction Committment. He is a member of The Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (1994), ISO 14001 Lead Assessor (1997) and Environmental Auditor (1998). He is/has held Non Executive Directorships with the following companies:  West London Business; Thames Valley Renewable Energy Association; SEDEX (Social Ethical Data Exchange); Chairman of Bracknell Forest Local Strategic Partnership; Member of BiTC Rural Action Leadership Team; Trustee of John Lewis Foundation; and Member of Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change. He holds degrees in Geology and Geography, and Environmental Law.

ANDY MACLACHLAN – FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN

 

Graduate of Cardiff University (1986). Worked in Mining sector in Africa before joining the Royal Air Force as a Pilot. In 1988 Andy joined British Airways as a commercial pilot and has gained over twenty two years of worldwide operational experience, the last ten as a Captain on Boeing 767, 757 and the Airbus A320. Andy’s four years of research into transport intelligence and logistics gives him the clear and vital understanding of how to build and commercialise this highly innovative and sustainable transport operation.

MIKE TOWNEND – NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

 

Mike has 17 years experience in all aspects of equity capital markets and joined IP Group as Head of Capital Markets from Lehman Brothers where he was Managing Director, European Equities and Head of Equity Sales to Hedge Funds. IP Group is the UK’s leading company helping Universities commercialise their intellectual property. Mike is also a non-executive director of Modern Water Plc, a UK listed company addressing the issues of water scarcity and Revolymer PLC, a polymer technology company which focuses on FMCG markets.
