According to Timeout the 10 best beaches in the UK are as follows: 1. Camber Sands, Sussex 2. Durdle Door, Dorset 3. Porthcurno, Cornwall 4. Pentle, Isles of Scilly 5. Holkham, Norfolk 6. Luskentyre, Isle of Harris 7. Summerleaze, Cornwall 8. Tankerton, Kent 9. Rhossili, Wales 10. Whitby, Yorkshire
Incredibly Camber Sands, ranked top, is also the closest to London, less than 80 miles and a two hour drive. So if you and your friends are looking for something to do at the weekend just jump on a gogutsi minibus and we’ll whisk you to the seaside in no time at all. I was lucky enough to take the kids some years ago. It’s no less than five miles long and the dunes are incredible. The kids spent hours and hours hurling themselves of them. It’s got something for everyone. Kite surfing, dog friendly and just 4 miles away is the beautiful village of Rye. It’s perfect for a day visit, a long weekend of a week away. And there’s plenty of accommodation options from boutique hotels to Pontins. You don’t need to go far to see the very best beaches and rumour has it this summer is going to be another cracker so jump onboard and allow us to chauffeur you there. Prices from £240 per coach each way.
I stumbled across this amazing photo a couple of days ago. A huge Humpback whale breaches feet from the rear of the smaller fishing boat enjoying a simple afternoon salmon fishing in Monterey Bay in California. Wow. Seeing that must have been amazing if not totally terrifying and it made me think. What’s the chance of that happening in a gogutsi coach. Well zero to be honest.
Although we have an International Public Service Vehicle Operating Licence and we can travel all over Europe we can’t get to Monterrey in the USA. Whilst you can book our minibuses to travel to one of thousands of amazing European wonders such as Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Edinburgh Castle or The Eiffel Tower, the only chance of seeing a humpback whale is off the coast of the Hebrides or the Scilly Isles. You can book one of our amazing luxury 16 seat minibuses to either destinations for just £60 an hour. Just take care of the ferry and accommodation and we’ll take care of you.
What a truly amazing weekend of sport, perhaps the likes of which we will never see again. Sunday 14th July was not only back to back with sport, but simultaneous with sport!. At one stage the F1 Grand Prix in Silverstone, England Cricket World Cup Final, and Wimbledon Tennis Finals were all live on TV. I didn’t know where to turn. Lewis Hamilton roared to his 6th British Grand Prix win. An amazing achievement from 2nd on the grid and considering he spent 30 laps nursing hard tyres to reach the final, gaining a further point for the fastest lap, on the last lap, was seen by many as some of the best F1 driving ever. Federer and Nadal waged war during the longest Wimbledon final ever, 4 hours and 57 minutes, ended only by a thrilling 13-12 tiebreaker, handing victory to Djokovic. But of course, the most amazing spectacle of all was watching England chase down 241 runs to force the Super Over, also tied, but handed the World Cup on superior boundary performance. Ben Stokes showed some of the toughest mental agility I’ve seen in sport. World Class. I’m a massive cricket fan but I’ve never once screamed at the television or jumped up of the sofa during a match. An amazing weekend of sport and a cricket final we’ll never witness again.
Hot of the press are the Premier League fixtures for next season. Liverpool start the campaign on Friday Evening against new boys Norwich City, promoted as Champions. Man City start away to West Ham and Man Utd host Chelsea on the Sunday. But after an incredible season can Liverpool do enough to pip City? Newly promoted Villa are away to Tottenham Hotspur and Sheffield United, back in the premier league following a 13 year absence take on Bournemouth on the south coast. This season promises to be one of the best with all the major sides likely to add strength to their lineups.

It’s June and you’re just about finish your A Levels. In fact finish school!! Once and for all!! Hard to get your head around when for the last 14 years going to school was as regular as breathing in and out. You’re also 18 so there’s not much you can’t do – drive, drink, vote, have a tattoo, get married…. But what to do first? It wont be long until you have to make some serious decisions. Do you go to uni, find a job, travel? But you have some time until results day. Just 9 weeks before those results. Nine care free weeks before you need to re-engage in life once again.
Before you make these major life decisions, step back a little and savour the next few months. Don’t waste them on the sofa playing FIFA 19. Get out and do something new everyday. Here’s some inspiration of practical things to do. It’s a bucket list for teens written by a middle aged man who cant remember what he did in those precious 9 weeks but wishes he’d done some of them.
1. Build a website. They take just a few hours and cost nothing. But you’ll begin to understand commerce. Forget French and Spanish. WordPress is the universal language. Everything is online and you need to be online and know how to stay online!
2. Learn how to take photographs. Real photographs! Stunning Photographs! Pictures say so much more than words. It doesn’t matter what you have to say because no one will even bother reading it if it doesn’t look gorgeous. Not selfies at the end of a stick. Express yourself. Capture colour, life and beauty.
3. Start your own investment portfolio. Sounds grand but its as simple as taking a bit of your beer money and buying some shares and watching the market. By the time you apply for a job you’ll have learnt how to buy, sell, lose and make money.
4. Take your bus driving test! Believe me, theres a huge shortage of good bus and coach drivers. Globally!! Finding them is like sniffing out truffles in the Forest of Dean. This is a skill for life. Wherever you go, UK, Europe, Africa, Asia you can get a job and earn your way.
5. Volunteer. Help someone who needs your help. However tough you think your life is and however hard done-by you think you are there are many many more with less. There’s no greater happiness than giving your time to help someone. It costs nothing and will empower you more than cash or materials ever could. It will help change their lives and might just change yours forever.
6. Visit your grandparents. Enough said. You will miss them and they have so much knowledge and wisdom to share.
You only have 9 weeks so make the most!
